✍️ OpenSign
OpenSign (Code) is a F/OSS alternative to tools like DocuSign and Dropbox Sign – you can easily send documents to people that you need to sign them, get their signature, and go on with your day.
It does what it says on the tin, which is pretty awesome – if you (or your business) has a need for getting people to fill out and sign forms, OpenSign is the great option in the Free and Open Source space for getting that done.
While it's probably not easier than simply sending a PDF and using in-browser tools that exist these days (Thanks Mozilla!), it's a great enterprise or small business tool.
🌠 Features
OpenSign has a bunch of features, mostly copied/adopted from other signing solutions, but that's why you're here:

- Completion certificates (including access log)
- Handle multiple documents
- Get signatures from multiple people
- Document Expiration
- API Integrations
- Email templates
- You can even run it on Windows
- Bulk Send Feature
There are a bunch more features as well! Check out the OpenSign GitHub writeup to see more.

👟 Getting started
OpenSign has a very useful installation guide for self-hosters available here:
Unfortunately, they don't actually have a docker
image that we can use easily – they expect users to clone and build the image themselves on Linux:
Unfortunately, I think this might be intentional to make it not so easy to get started locally (but who knows!) – so it looks like the project actually isn't so easy to get started with.
🧑💻 Want to contribute?
OpenSign is an opensource (AGPL licensed) project, and it's open to contributions like most others, with a really smally amount of issues left!
There are surprisingly only ~100 issues at this point for a project with 2.8k ⭐️s!
If you'd like to make impact, this is a great time to jump in
