Noixer (Code) is an Open Source ambient noise mixer which is really easy to try out online:

With Noixer, you can combine ("mix") and modulate sounds from a bunch of different environments, effectively creating your own white noise (or environmental sound).

If you want to try out Noixer, you can use the website directly.

If you'd like to self-host noixer the website/project, it's open source (and awesome!) so you can actually just pull the repo:
