👽 Hoppscotch
Hoppscotch is a Progressive Web App that you can use as an API request testbed. Make requests to your REST, GraphQL and other APIs easily and save them for later.
If you've used Postman, you know how to use Hoppscotch (code). Hoppscotch (formerly known as PostWoman) is a very popular F/OSS alternative to Postman. It looks gorgeous:
Hoppscotch makes it easy to query HTTP APIs, whether via RESTful HTTP verbs (GET
, POST
, etc) or via GraphQL.
Hoppscotch can be used right from their home page – visit the main website to start using it right from the browser.
In addition to basic requests, Hoppscotch has a ton of features:
- Server Sent Events
- Websockets
- Workspaces for saving how you work
- Collections for saving and reusing requests
- MQTT
And those are just a few of the things you can do with Hoppscotch.
Hoppscotch has great documentation, with guides on how to use the RestAPI platform and GraphQL as well.
Running Hoppscotch

There was some discussion on creating a cross-platform native build, but it looks like that's been abandoned.
